Psalm 147:3 “God heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds.”

This first week of November brings memories of one of the saddest times in my life. Fourteen years ago my heart was broken, my trust was painfully devastated and my dreams were crushed by an adulterous spouse! My world was turned upside down and my heart was turned inside out! I was in shock by the betrayal of one that I totally loved and trusted. I am so grateful that IN CHRIST, THINGS GET BETTER!!! Truly, God heals the brokenhearted and my joy has been restored. When I remember how hurt I was at this time of year, 14 years ago, I do not take for granted the healing work that has transpired in my heart! Many of us have been or will be betrayed by a loved one, but when we invite God into our brokeness, we will experience HEALING that is only possible for the God for whom NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. Precious Jesus, thank you for binding up my wounds and restoring my broken heart. AMEN!
